What happens if I don't confirm delivery?

What happens if I don't confirm delivery — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.

Overview

Confirming delivery tells the store that you've received the parcel and everything is fine. If you don't confirm, the order still shows as "Out for delivery" but stays open on your side — and it's harder to raise a problem or request a return later on.

What to do instead

  • If everything is fine — tap "Confirm Delivery" on the order in "My Orders". It only takes a second and gives the store the closure they need.
  • If something is wrong — don't confirm. See How do I report a problem? to raise it, or How do I request a refund? if the item isn't right.

Why it matters

  • The order chat stays useful — you can still message the store easily.
  • If a problem shows up later, we have a clean record of when you flagged it.
  • Confirmed orders help stores build ratings and trust for future buyers.
