What is the Javern Wallet?

What is the Javern Wallet — quick answer with steps and helpful context for Javern users.

Updated 31 July 2026

Overview

The Javern Wallet is a Naira balance tied to your Javern account. You can top it up, pay for orders with it, and receive refunds into it. Everything lives inside Javern — no separate app or bank login needed.

What you can do with it

  • Pay for orders. Pick "Javern Wallet" as the payment method at checkout.
  • Receive refunds. Rejected orders, 72-hour auto-cancellations, and approved returns all credit your wallet immediately.
  • Top up when you want. Add funds from your card or bank via Paystack — see How do I add money?.

Where to find it

  1. Open the Javern App or Javern and sign in.
  2. Go to your profile.
  3. Tap "Wallet" to see your balance and recent activity.

Good to know

  • The wallet is a payment tool, not a bank account — you can't withdraw wallet balance back to a card. Money stays on Javern for future purchases.
  • The balance is always in Naira.
  • Every credit and debit shows in your wallet history so you can trace where the money went.

Selling on Javern?

Vendors have a separate Javern Wallet for receiving payouts. It works differently and includes BVN verification, virtual accounts, and withdrawals to your bank. See How do withdrawals work?.
